U.S. Army Paratroopers assigned to Charlie Company, 37th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, wait to receive Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) weapon attachments at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) on Fort Johnson, L.A., Sept. 21, 2023. MILES gear includes sensors that simulate the reception of enemy fire for training purposes. The equipment was issued in preparation for JRTC rotation 23-10.
