Sailors assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) 2's medical department conduct a live blood transfusion utilizing Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Tier 3 and Tier 4 treatments on a simulated polytrauma casualty. The event showcased MSRON 2's medical department damage control resuscitation capabilities through initial point of injury through evacuation using multiple casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) platforms including a 34-foot Patrol boat.
