Chris Barrett, husband of Laura Barrett, grand-niece of Lt. Harry Edeburn, co-pilot on the 100th Bomb Group’s original “Squawkin Hawk” B-17 Flying Fortress during World War II, shares how he spent years researching Edeburn to find out as much as possible about his wife’s relative, and achieved his goal in preserving the stories for future generations during a nose art dedication ceremony at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, Oct. 10, 2023.
