Grush, a distinguished 1999 UNR graduate, was presented with a United States Flag by Gov. Joe Lombardo before the game. She boasts a 23-year tenure with the Nevada Air National Guard's 152nd Airlift Wing and home of the High Rollers. She holds the esteemed honor of being the first female Wing Commander for the 152nd Airlift Wing, where she is responsible for more than 1,100 Airmen with a mission to provide tactical airlift to combatant commanders as well as world-class domestic response including airborne firefighting services to our state and nation. She made history as the first pilot in the Nevada Air National Guard to accumulate an astounding 1,000 hours of combat time, achieved during both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
