Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 2nd Class Dervin Gardner directs a C-2A Greyhound, assigned to Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 120, onto a catapult on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) as it prepares for takeoff. A C-2A Greyhound's primary mission is the transport of cargo, mail and passengers between carriers and shore bases. Harry S.
