The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began the first site assessments for Phase 1 private property debris removal Oct. 27 in Lahaina, Hawai‘i. Assessors use tablet devices to take photos, make notations, and map out affected properties, which will assist in the Phase 2 debris removal process.
