U.S. Navy hospital corpsmen and Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 271 practice tactical combat-casualty care during Field Exercise (FEX) 1-24 at Marine Corps Outlying Landing Field Atlantic, North Carolina, Oct. 26, 2023. FEX 1-24 allowed MWSS-271 to conduct five of the six functions of aviation ground support using distributed aviation operations and distributed command-and-control tactics.
