U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. "It means a lot to come here to honor those who came before me..." Martinez said. "...including my older brother who served in the Navy for five years."
Martinez also plans to spend the day honoring the veterans of America's armed forces with his mother, uncle, brother and sister in the local area.
"It's a great opportunity, not only to honor the Veterans but to spend the day with my family too. I am really excited for my family to see me in my dress blues. My siblings haven't seen me in my blues before, so I hope I make them proud."
