A Marine with Charlie Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, guides a Humvee onto a trailer during a recovery mission in Forward Operating Base Hawas March 7. The company of Marine combat engineers also provided logistics and personnel support, swapping out a generator and dropping off five specialized utility Marines to operate the FOB's water purification system. Combat engineers continue to provide support by emplacing force-protection barriers, building safe structures and repairing damaged roads, but they're also starting to demilitarize surrounding communities as Al Anbar province becomes more stable.
