The 2023 Nepal DREE is part of the continued multilateral engagement of the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) and the Government of Nepal (GON). The DREE scenario will focus on a major earthquake and multi-hazard event centered in the city of Kathmandu to test first responder’s capabilities, civil-military coordination, and the Government of Nepal’s ability to coordinate humanitarian assistance from a variety of institutions and countries.
