Lt. Col. Chris Herion leads the After-Action Review (AAR) survey by encouraging participants to reflect upon their experiences of the 2023 Nepal Disaster Response Exercise & Exchange (DREE) "Unity of Effort VI" in Chitwan, Nepal, Nov. 11, 2023. The 2023 Nepal DREE is part of the continued multilateral engagement of the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) and the Government of Nepal (GON). The DREE ends with a detailed AAR designed to capture lessons-learned and best practices and identify a future date, location and potential scenario for the next DREE in Nepal. This information will go into shaping future Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Response (HA/DR) activities, as well as potentially identifying recommendations to enhance existing disaster management documents and procedures.
