Senior Airman Karlie Foster, assigned to the New York National Guard;s 2nd Civil Support Team trains soldiers from the Dismounted Chemical Reconnaissance Platoon, of the 10th Mountain Division on the proper use of oxygen masks during a training exercise at the Colonie Fire Training Center in Latham, NY, Nov 17th. During the exercise, Chemical, Nuclear, Radioactive, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialists from Fort Drum went through training scenarios designed to familiarize them with certain equipment, expand their knowledge in responding to a CBRN situation, and to build a relationship with the New York National Guard Civil Support Team, who was present to facilitate the training and offer support and mentorship.
