Soldiers from the Dismounted Chemical Reconnaissance Platoon, 10th Mountain Division prepare equipment to be used during a training exercise at the Colonie Fire Training Center in Latham, NY, Nov 17th. During the exercise, Chemical, Nuclear, Radioactive, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialists from Fort Drum went through training scenarios designed to familiarize them with certain equipment, expand their knowledge in responding to a CBRN situation, and to build a relationship with the New York National Guard's 2nd Civil Support Team, whose members were present to facilitate the training and offer support and mentorship.
