Originally U.S. Air Force Hospital Andrews in 1955, the hospital was later dedicated as the Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center in 1962, recognizing Grow's service after his death in 1960 as the first U.S. Air Force Surgeon General and a field doctor in both world wars.
