Sgt. Douglas Nicoson, a native of Greenville, Ill., measures wood planks March 18 at Combat Outpost Meade. Nicoson serves with the Scout Platoon, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). When not on mission, the scouts are busy making their workplace and home a little more comfortable.
