David Bellon, commander of Marine Forces South, right, receives a commemorative plaque from Almirante-deesquadra fuzileiro naval (Brazilian Marine Corps general) Carlos Chagas Vianna Braga, commandant of the Brazilian Marine Corps, during the 4th Brazilian Marine Corps Amphibious Symposium in Rio de Janeiro, Nov. 28, 2023. Bellon and Chagas held bilateral talks during the symposium to reaffirm the longstanding relationship between the two marine corps and to continue strengthening the strategic partnership.
