Bellon and Chagas held bilateral talks during the symposium to reaffirm the longstanding relationship between the two marine corps and to continue strengthening the strategic partnership. The Brazilian Marine Corps hosts this amphibious symposium every eight years as a forum to exchange ideas and foster camaraderie among marine corps and naval infantry around the world.
