U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Seth Corliss, an operation chief, Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, fires downrange during an annual rifle qualification (ARQ) at a field exercise (FEX) in Fort Devens, Massachusetts, Dec. 7, 2023. The FEX allowed Reserve Marines to maintain readiness by executing several ARQs, a scout sniper indoctrination, a swim qualification and a tactical combat casualty care course. As a civilian, Corliss - a Massachusetts native - attended Fair Haven Union High School and now owns a bar called The Unlikely Favorite. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. David Intriago)
