YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 8, 2023) — Aviation Boatswain’s Mate, Launching and Recovery Equipment 3rd Class Correia Luis, attached to USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), originally from Angola, receives a naturalization certificate from Lt. Cmdr. Sarah Chi, assigned to Region Legal Service Office Western Pacific, onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) during a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services naturalization ceremony at the AOB Auditorium. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
