Researchers from the University of New South Wales hosted an Antarctic and climate research presentation for guests aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Polar Star while the cutter was in Sydney, Dec. 11, 2023. During their port call, the Polar Star hosted members from the U.S. Consulate, the Royal Australian Navy, researchers from the University of New South Wales, the Australian National Maritime Museum, and families from a children’s hospital.
