Family members from the Sydney Children’s Hospital tested fire-fighting equipment while touring the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Polar Star (WAGB 10) while the cutter is moored in Sydney, Dec. 11, 2023. During their port call, the Polar Star hosted several tours for members from the U.S. Consulate, the Royal Australian Navy, researchers from the University of New South Wales, members from the Australian National Maritime Museum, and families from the Sydney Children’s Hospital.
