The Remembrance Day patch was designed for the Airmen assigned to the 501st Combat Support Wing located in several geographically separated units across the United Kingdom and Norway. This patch is intended to be worn on Fridays for morale purposes and in solidarity with the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from the UK and the Commonwealth. Displaying a red poppy is a sign of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. (U.S. Air Force graphic by Staff Sgt. Jessica Avallone)
