GULF OF ADEN (Oct. 24, 2023) Naval Aircrew Specialist (Helicopter) 3rd Class Daniel Sinagoga, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26, embarked aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), conducts search and rescue jumps from a MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter attached to HSC 26 in the Gulf of Aden, Oct. 24. Components of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to help ensure maritime security and stability in the Middle East region.
