    NORFOLK, Va. (Jan. 5, 2024) – Vice Adm. James Downey, commander, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), greets Capt. Jay Young, Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) commanding officer, Jan. 5, at Building LF-18 at Naval Station Norfolk. Downey assumed command of NAVSEA during a change of command ceremony Jan. 3, becoming NAVSEA's 46th commander. During his visit, Downey met with MARMC leadership to discuss the command and its future.
