Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force JoAnne S. Bass, coins Staff Sgt Jacob Allen, 432nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft Craftsman, Creech Air Force Base, Nevada, Jan. 9, 2024. He was coined for his actions such as identifying and replacing a faulty starter-generator while on temporary duty travel during an Agile Combat Employment Exercise. His actions avoided the pack up and shipment of the aircraft and enabled four sorties to support a joint forces exercise. He also while deployed witnessed a major vehicle accident, assessed the scene, removed the driver from the vehicle and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) until emergency services arrived.
