Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force JoAnne S. He was coined for his actions such as identifying and replacing a faulty starter-generator while on temporary duty travel during an Agile Combat Employment Exercise. His actions avoided the pack-up and shipment of the aircraft and enabled four sorties to support a joint forces exercise. He also while deployed witnessed a major vehicle accident, assessed the scene, removed the driver from the vehicle and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) until emergency services arrived.
