U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Eric Andrekopoulos, from Wisconsin and a fixed-wing aircraft mechanic with Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 223, puts on his flight equipment at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Jan. 25, 2024. After completing the prerequisite training, Andrekopoulos was afforded the opportunity to fly in an AV-8B Harrier II jet based on his superior performance and as an incentive for reenlisting for another four years of service in the Marine Corps.
