Bougainville III is a 3d Littoral Combat Team live-fire exercise focused on decentralized operations to prepare the battalion to command and control forces from dispersed locations. Howard is a native of Columbia, SC, and is a fire support Marine. Del Castillo is a native of Agana, Guam and is a forward air controller.
