U.S. Army Lt. Col. Stephen Schuyler, a senior advisor assigned to 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade, reviews the developed plan of action for execution of the subject matter expert exchange with foreign security partners during the mission readiness exercise at Fort Cavazos, Texas, Feb. 8, 2024, in preparation for their upcoming employment to the U.S. Central Command area of operations. During the exercise, Soldiers were challenged to simulate assess, support, liaise and advise scenarios with foreign security force role players. The event is one of many training requirements that certify the advisors’ ability to support foreign partner forces and enhance their readiness to defeat terrorist and near peer threats.
