Army Brig. Gen. Arthur W. Hinaman and Air Force Brig. Gen. Marc H. Sasseville visit the 121st Medical Company (Air Ambulance), a Virginia National Guard air crew, comprised of both pilots and maintainers. Based at DAA (Davison AAF, Fort Belvoir, Va.), DC-NG's 121st Medical Company (Air Ambulance) was the first National Guard unit to receive the medevac-configured version of the UH-72A. The 121st Medical Company (Air Ambulance) is tasked with providing National Guard medevac support to the National Capital Region to include presidential inauguration support. The Lakota helicopter is outfitted with a new Mission Equipment Package that has capabilities to uniquely support law enforcement, search and rescue and provide secure communications. The UH-72A Lakota is a light utility helicopter with a twin-engine and a single, four-bladed main rotor. (Official U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Eric Miller/ New York Air National Guard)
