NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (Jan. 15, 2024) -- Aviation Structural Mechanic – Safety Equipment 3rd Class Cody Evans and Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Clarence Lubaton (right), Sailors attached to Patrol Squadron (VP) 46, the ‘Grey Knights,’ remove panels from the frame of a P-8A Poseidon at Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella, Italy, Jan. 15, 2024. Evans and Lubaton were removing panels as part of a periodic routine phase inspection on the aircraft. Phase inspections are conducted to ensure the aircraft is safe for flight.
