NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (Jan. 15, 2024) -- Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Clarence Lubaton (left) and Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Stephon Bonaldi (right), Sailors attached to Patrol Squadron (VP) 46, the ‘Grey Knights,’ remove panels from the starboard wing of a P-8A Poseidon at Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella, Italy, Jan. 15, 2024. Lubaton and Bonaldi were removing panels as part of a periodic routine phase inspection on the aircraft. Phase inspections are conducted to ensure the aircraft is safe for flight.
