PACIFIC OCEAN (February 13, 2024) — Damage Controlman 3rd Class Jeremiah Anderson tests the deck for structural integrity while leading his Repair Five team searching for a class bravo fire during a main engineering space fire drill on board the guided-missile destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59). Behind him, Damage Controlman 3rd Class Joshua Frith scans the space with a Thermal Imaging Camera. The Russell is on a regularly scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific.
