QUITO, Ecuador (Feb. 27, 2024) – U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet personnel commemorate an award ceremony at the Ecuadorian Naval Headquarters in Quito. During the ceremony, the Ecuadorian Navy awarded its Great Star of Military Merit to Navy Rear Adm. Jim Aiken, Commander U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet, for his contribution to strengthening the maritime partnership with the Ecuadorian Navy. This award is represented by a sash for wear in a dress uniform.
