Pedro Martinez, a tire changer for the Earnhardt Ganassi McDonald’s 1 Car, oversees Spc. Jacob Arent using an air gun to remove the lug nuts during the NASCAR Pit Crew Challenge held Jan. 17 on Fort Bragg. Arent and his team of paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division’s 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment won the challenge by changing four tires in 28.93 seconds – the fastest of 9 teams participating in the event.
