Spc. Jacob Arent follows his team leader, Sgt. 1st Class William Pittman around the Earnhardt Ganassi McDonald’s 1 car during the NASCAR Pit Crew Challenge held Jan. 17 on Fort Bragg. The team of paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division’s 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment won the challenge by replacing four tires in 28.93 seconds – the fastest of 9 teams participating in the event.
