Foxtrot Squad carry a teammate on a medical stretcher while being guided by Sgt. Preston Clark, a combat flight medic with the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, to a waiting helicopter during the 30th Medical Brigade Best Squad Competition at Franken Kaserne military base, Ansbach, Germany on Feb. 27, 2024. The Squad is required to load a simulated casualty onto a UH-60 Black Hawk while being instructed by the onboard flight medic. Events like these are used as a test of grit and toughness, foster readiness and esprit de corps, and are a fundamental part of the Brigade's method of building lethal, cohesive teams and expert leaders.
