2nd Lt. Alan Sheppard, an Army health services admin with the 254th Combat Operational Stress Control Team, aims his M4 Carbine at a simulated combatant during the 30th Medical Brigade Best Squad Competition at Franken Kaserne military base, Ansbach, Germany on Feb. 27, 2024. The Competition tests squads’ physical, technical, and tactical abilities under stress and fatigue to determine which squad from 30th MED BDE will advance to the 21st Theater Sustainment Command competition.
