Cmdr. Kathleen Dagher, Director for Administration aboard Naval Hospital Cherry Point, presents Mr. Steve Roy a U.S. National Ensign flown that morning in front of the facility and earlier in locations across the Central Command area of responsibility during his retirement ceremony Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Roy served the MCAS Cherry Point community over four decades aboard Naval Hospital and Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, ending his career as the Facilities Maintenance Department Supervisor. During his 42 years at Cherry Point, Roy executed over $60 facility projects in two different buildings serving under 19 different commanding officers.
