Mr. Steve Roy completes the final task of his 42 years of service to MCAS Cherry Point Marines, Sailors and civilians by affixing a metal plate onto a plaque dedicating the Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point central energy plant in his name, Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Roy retired earlier that day after four decades aboard Naval Hospital and Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, ending his career as the Facilities Maintenance Department Supervisor. During his career at Cherry Point, Roy executed over $60 facility projects in two different buildings serving under 19 different commanding officers.
