U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division/ROK-U.S. Combined Division, help attach a fuel hose with a Republic of Korea army 5th Logistics Support Brigade soldier during a combined area distribution center training in Cherwon-gun, Gangwon-do, and Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, March. 6, 2024. The training conducted a realistic organizational framework necessary to prepare locations, maintain storage and staging of supplies, and enable the movement of vehicles distributing classes of supply. In support of the Armistice Agreement, Freedom Shield 24 underscores the enduring military partnership between the ROK and the U.S. It reinforces the role of the Alliance as the linchpin for regional peace and security, reaffirming the unwavering commitment of the United States to defend the Republic of Korea.
