Lt. Col. Kenneth Boggs, commander, 92nd Engineer Battalion "Black Diamonds," attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, receives hugs from his children Cole, 2, and Bella, 4, while standing in formation on Cottrell Field for the day's color-casing ceremony, Jan. 31. The children escaped their mother's supervision and raced out to their father, who along with the rest of his Battalion is preparing to deploy within the month to Afghanistan. The battalion is deploying in order to help the draw down of U.S. forces in Afghanistan by reducing the Army's structural footprint there. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Richard Wrigley, 2nd BCT, 3rd Inf.
