U.S. Army medics assigned to the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division evacuate a simulated casualty to a medical field site as part of a series of medical experimentations during Project Convergence – Capstone 4 at Fort Irwin, Calif., March 14, 2024. The Soldiers were experimenting with a new patient litter system, and the Remote Patient Management System or RPMS. The system helps medical personnel remotely monitor patients leveraging a singular platform that allows remote monitoring, limited medical intervention or tele-mentoring for military medical professionals working an operational environment.
