Indiana National Guardsman Spc. Andrew Privett with 2nd Battalion, 150th Field Artillery Regiment readies himself by reviewing the route for the eight mile ruck march with his sponsor Sgt. First Class Cameron Campbell at Camp Atterbury, Ind. on March 15, 2024 during the Best Warrior Competition. This event is included in the competition in order to gauge combat readiness of the competitors. Best Warrior Competition is an annual event that seeks to test the most skilled and proficient warriors on many basic soldier tasks such as physical fitness, marksmanship, combat readiness and more.
