A HoloLens headset hangs from the hands of a U.S. Air Force service member during Exercise Rising Phoenix, Feb. 7, 2024, at at Morón Air Base, Spain. HoloLens allows users to interact virtually with subject matter experts to troubleshoot complications and facilitate swift resolutions to complex issues that could hinder Rapid Global Mobility. During the week of Feb. 5-9, 2024, the 725th Air Mobility Squadron, Naval Station Rota and the 496th Air Base Squadron conducted Exercise Rising Phoenix by simulating a natural disaster to assess and demonstrate the joint effort between the units during surging operations to support enroute Air Mobility Command aircraft heading downrange.
