240319-N-YV333-1111 PRINCETON, N.J. (Mar. 19, 2024) Sailors assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG-59) learn the history of Clarke House while touring the Princeton Battlefield State Park during a namesake visit. Clarke House was built in 1772 by Thomas Clarke and the premises served as a hospital for both sides during the Battle of Princeton. 17 Princeton crew members visited the city of Princeton to reconnect with history and foster meaningful connections with local residents, community leaders and schools, strengthening the bond between the ship and its namesake city.
