LAS MESAS, HN - Staff Sgt. Gladys E. Alamo-Lozado of the 756th Engineer Company speaks with Soldiers from the 672nd Engineer Company about repairing a dilapidated schoolhouse. U.S. Army engineers are among the personnel participating in Beyond the Horizon, a training exercise that provides basic medical and dental care, as well as infrastructure renovation, to rural areas in this Central American country. Soldiers working in Las Mesas will replace the school?s doors and windows, repair the roof, and repaint the entire structure, in addition to improving a soccer field on which local children play.
