Louisiana National Guard Soldiers with 1st Battalion, 169th Air Traffic Services provides onsite communications and air space management for 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment helicopter crews of during annual Christmas Tree Drop in Bayou Sauvage in New Orleans, March 20, 2024. The trees will create a wave break to trap sediment and restore marshland as part of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service program.
