Soldiers from the 843rd Engineer Construction Company connect a bundle of recycled Christmas trees to a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during the annual Christmas Tree Drop in New Orleans, March 20, 2024. The 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment helicopter crew assists in placing the trees in Bayou Sauvage to establish a wave break to trap sediment and restore marshland.
