Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit Six (NEPMU SIX) commemorated 75 years of exemplary service in Force Health Protection, March 27th, 2024, in Pearl Harbor Hawaii. Cmdr. Joseph Stastny, NEPMU SIX officer in charge and Senior Enlisted Leader (SEL) Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman Oscar Mendoza greet HMCS (ret) Maurice Cornish, the former SEL of the unit who addressed the crew during their celebration. NEPMU SIX works to maximize the mission readiness of operational forces in the Pacific Theater ensuring a reliable water supply, nutritious food, and comfortable living conditions are available through preventive medicine and public health support.
